Here at Calton House we take your data privacy seriously.


When you fill in a form on our website, complete an application form, send us an email, give us a call, work in or access one of our services we can gather your data to make sure we're providing the best possible service.


Our privacy statement tells you what we do you with your data, including how we collect, store and why we may share your information. We collect different sets of data depending on how and why you interact with us and we have a privacy statement which supports you.

You have the following rights with any information we hold:


  • To ask to see any information we hold about you or the person we support.
  • To correct any mistakes or changes to the information.
  • To ask us to delete information about you or the person we support.
  • To limit what we do with the information.
  • To tell us not to use the information.
  • To ask us to give some information to another person.

Calton House Limited abide by regulations in relation to the personal and private data we process, hold and give out:


- The Data Protection Act (DPA) 2018
- Access to Health Records Act (AHRA) 1990


Data Subject is the person whose data is being requested.

Requestor is someone who is requesting information pertaining to a Data Subject.


Data will only be shared if the required evidence is provided to prove that the requestor has the right to the information:


1. You may request information we hold about you as the data subject.
2. You may request information we hold on a living data subject, they must provide consent for us to share their data with you if they have the capacity to do so.
3. You may request information we hold on a living data subject, with the appropriate evidence to prove you are acting on their behalf with consent e.g. through a Power of Attorney or Court of Protection if they do not have capacity.
4. You may request information we hold on a deceased data subject, with the appropriate evidence to prove you are legally authorised to manage their affairs e.g. will or grant of probate.


Please be aware that we respond to all requests in line with regulations; generally 30 days from when we receive the evidence to proceed with all requests.


Therefore, please ensure requests are made with this timeline in place, as none will be processed until evidence to proceed is verified first.
